History
TQI, Inc. was established in 1992 as a logistics brokerage firm outsourcing primarily truckload and less-than-truckload transportation services to qualified trucking companies in the central and northern United States. TQI, Inc. entered the cold chain logistics market in 1992, and today enjoys an excellent reputation as a high quality, full-service cold chain provider. Superior, on-time reliable service has made TQI, Inc. a widely recognized name within the Life Sciences industry for cold chain logistics services. TQI, Inc. was purchased by Forward Air Corporation in 2013 and because of its layered security approach expanded services to the high value shipper market. That same year TQI, Inc. became TAPA level 1 certified and continues that certification today.
